What do you do when you need a ruler to measure something? Make one of course! Great number work.  

The children in nursery are developing and strengthening their fine motor skills to create minibeasts using clay. They are rolling, pinching, and poking to make different shapes and patterns. 

Last term’s gardening club all left with their own pansy to grow on in their own gardens. Thank you for helping to make our school environment beautiful.

Year 1 Invasion Games

The children enjoyed developing their ball skills in PE. We looked at how to move around in spaces using a ball. We used the balls to roll the ball around our ankles and then we played cross the swamp. 

In R.E, the children were given the dilemma about whether they should become a disciple or not.

The classes formed an alleyway of believers and non-believers. Children then walked down and listened to the points of view of others to help influence their final decision.

In Computing, the children have been exploring binary code.

We looked at how the digits 0 and 1 are used to communicate commands or data.

Another lovely day! The children had a ball and were so good.  We completed all the usual activities and the children particularly enjoyed feeding all of the animals.  

Another great day at the farm.  We managed to squeeze in so much.  Feeding lambs, goats, sheep and a cow.  We met lots of different critters and were all very brave holding and stroking them.  The children enjoyed a packed lunch before going on a train ride.  A quick play in the park and it was…

The children are enjoying the warmer spring weather and are having lots of fun outdoors. They are listening to stories, playing together, practising ball skills, sharing and taking turns.
