We have been creating collages using different strips of paper and pictures. The collages represent natural features such as the bark of the tree.

The children created a story map about what was encountered by Arthur following his journey from his town to the home of Thor.

The cubes have created lots of excitement in class and today the children were trying to build a tower that was taller than the teacher! Lots of great mathematical language was used and the children had lots of fun.

Year 1-Computing

This week the children will be using the chromebooks in class. They will learn how to develop their mouse skills. The children will use the sketchpad app to design their own picture using click and drag skills. 

Today in the outdoor resource are the children are investigating classroom objects to see if they float or sink in a bowl of water.  They were very excited to see if their predictions were correct or not!
