Year 4 & 5 Grand National Multiskills Event
Today some children took part in the South Sefton Grand National event at King's Leadership Academy. They practised different skills including throwing, catching, jumping, running and demonstrated excellent teamwork too. Well done everyone!
Rugby Workshop

After a glorious spring walk, nursery children went to play on the large field this afternoon. After a rehearsal for their Easter Reflection in church Year 6 joined nursery for a play on the field. Well done Year 6 for being fantastic role models for our youngest pupils.

Learning About Palm Sunday in Nursery
This week the children have been listening to the story of Palm Sunday. They reenacted Jesus travelling through Jerusalem on a donkey with crowds waving palm leaves shouting 'Hosanna'. The children also used the figures in our golden box to retell the story.
Physical Development in the Sunshine!
The children have enjoyed doing their PE lesson outdoors this week practising ball skills and travelling in and out of hoops. In the forest area, they continue to balance, swing, collect and play together using their wonderful imaginations.
Number Museum
Today we investigated numbers in the environment and the children were able to make a number museum for 9 and 10 on their own!
Rockets!
On Friday, the children worked in small groups to plan and create a rocket.
They had to explain what mission their rocket would be suitable.
The children had lots of fun working together in their groups.
