Reading
Please try and read with your child every night. Really focus on asking questions about their book as this will help them with their reading comprehension.
Finally, if there are any questions or concerns please feel free to speak to any of us before or after the school day.

In Year 2, we have exciting trips planned to the following places:
Autumn term: Owl visit from Lancashire Hawk and Owls (Monday 4th November).
Summer term: Liverpool Waterfront and Philharmonic Hall Concert.

Year 2 Lego Club
The Year 2 Lego club have been very busy this half term, creating and building each Tuesday after school. Super work!
Year 2 Monster Doodle Masterclass
Year 2 joined a Children’s University masterclass where we heard from an illustrator called Laura who does animations for CBeebies. She demonstrated how to draw a range of amazing monsters and then the children all had a go.
