Reading
Please try and read with your child every night. Really focus on asking questions about their book as this will help them with their reading comprehension.
Finally, if there are any questions or concerns please feel free to speak to any of us before or after the school day.

Autumn term: Owl visit from Lancashire Hawk and Owls (Monday 4th November).
Summer term: Liverpool Waterfront and Philharmonic Hall Concert.

Safer Internet Day 2025
Today, we celebrated Safer Internet Day by having two assemblies led by our Childnet Digital Leaders group from Year 5 & 6 with a special guest support from Kirsty Carter, part of Merseyside Police's Cyber Crime team.

Design Technology
As part of their work on mechanisms Y2 investigated axles.
Year 2 Science- Materials
The children explored applying the forces of squashing, bending, twisting and stretching to a range of materials and they recorded their results in a table.
