This week the children prepared their own healthy snack and made fruit kebabs. They practised their chopping skills whilst talking about the different colours, textures, shape and taste of fruits. 

We had a fun packed World Book Day.  This year we had a busy time learning a poem about farm animals to perform in a special assembly this morning.  

In maths today, the children were investigating area and perimeter in compound shapes. We explored different ways to calculate the two measurements whilst also looking at ways to solve missing lengths in shapes.
