In History, we looked at where Baghdad was built and why this location was chosen.
Using historical accounts, we designed our own version of what Baghdad may have looked like.
Nursery A Fruit Kebabs
Fruit kebabs were on the food technology menu this week. The children chopped a variety of fruit and then carefully created their own fruit kebabs.
Outdoor Fun in the Sun
The children in nursery enjoyed playing parachute games and relaxing in the hammock under the sunshine this week. They also searched for minibeasts and played imaginatively with one another.
Nursery Make Fruit Kebabs
This week the children prepared their own healthy snack and made fruit kebabs. They practised their chopping skills whilst talking about the different colours, textures, shape and taste of fruits.
World Book Day in Nursery A
We had a fun packed World Book Day. This year we had a busy time learning a poem about farm animals to perform in a special assembly this morning.

Investigating area and perimeter
In maths today, the children were investigating area and perimeter in compound shapes. We explored different ways to calculate the two measurements whilst also looking at ways to solve missing lengths in shapes.
