Today we explored ‘The Hand Jive’, a popular dance in the rock ‘n’ roll genre.
We broke the dance down into its different moves before putting it all together as a class.
Year 6 Sportshall Athletics
Well done to our Year 6 children who took part in the South Sefton Sporthall Athletics today. They all gave 100% effort in the different track and field events, showing positive attitudes and encouraging one another.

We focused on Tamanrasset in Algeria and explored what it must be like to live there and some of the challenges the people might face.
Also, we made comparisons between Dhaka and Tamanrasset.

Today we have applied weaving techniques using raffia to create a natural piece of artwork.

The children explored a series of movements, using their breath along side. They were encouraged to think about how the movements made them feel. They ended with a calm rainforest relaxation period.
