The children used a range of skills like slicing, chopping, grating and creating ribbons to create a colourful vegetable and pasta layered salad.

The children in nursery are interested in learning about animals that live in cold climates. We have looked at different animals that live in the Arctic including polar bears, snowy owls and arctic foxes. We have also been exploring what happens to ice as it melts.  

What’s better than one gingerbread house? How about, thirty?

Today, the children in Year 6 brought in their very own gingerbread house kits. After reading through the instructions, they worked in groups to construct and then decorate their kits. 

Reception are getting very excited for the big day.  The girls built a castle for Father Christmas so he can make their toys in it!  All three want new dolls for Christmas.

Climate Change Workshop

Year 6 took part in a really interesting session this morning with Sam from SusTrans. We discussed some of the key issues related to climate changed and thought about ways in which we can live a more sustainable life.

Our nursery children made a wonderful start to our Christmas assemblies today.  In our special act of worship the children sang beautifully and reminded us all of the true meaning of Christmas.  We are so proud of how amazing they all were.   Well done children!
