Multiples

We have been exploring patterns and repeats. Using stones and pebbles we made some firework patterns, carefully following lines, developing their visual accuracy and fine motor skills.
Sorting 1 2 and 3
This week Reception have been looking at numbers 1 2 and 3. We sorted various ways of showing the numbers as class, the children then did in small groups before finally bring left to explore themselves.
Tic-Tac-Toe Addition & Subtraction
To consolidate our learning on addition and subtraction we played in pairs a game of Tic-Tac-Toe.
To place their counter the children had to solve an addition or subtraction.
