Year 5 have been exploring printmaking.

After looking at the work of Andy Warhol, the children designed their own stencil based around a Christmas theme.

We are going to use our stencils to create wonderful Christmas cards.

Physical Development, Expressive Art & Design

The children are using their fine motor skills to decorate wreaths, Christmas trees and snowmen this week. They are also wrapping gifts for under the tree and making magical reindeer food bags. 

Our nursery is full of invitations to play, learn, investigate and explore but first thing in the morning we vary what we have out on our carpet area. Recently, the children have loved mark making and exploring shape on large sheets of paper.

 We used printing techniques to create superb art work. 

We had an amazing time print block making. We used slabs, rollers and printing ink.
