We visited to church to see the crib and the three wise men visiting baby Jesus. We talked about how the 3 kings are also called ‘The Magi’ and we spoke about the importance of the star that they followed to find baby Jesus. One of our little boys suggested we sing the ‘Little Baby Jesus’ song from our nativity assembly, what a beautiful idea. We also listened to the carol ‘We Three Kings of Orient Are’. Upon return to nursery we made our own stars by wrapping wool around cardboard star shapes. We hung them up to remind us of the importance of the star in the story of Jesus birth.
