We haven’t just been finding out about our new friends in nursery, we have been thinking about ourselves and asking what makes us special. We used mirrors to look carefully at our faces and draw our own self portrrait. Thinking about the shape of our faces, eyes, nose, mouth and ears. We then talked about the shade of our skin and explored using skin tone pencils. The children demonstrated some excellent observation and mark making skills. We have just a few left to finish now.
