Calling all able people! Join the Royal Navy and do you bit for the war effort!
Today, the children from Year 6 became evacuees and travelled to the Western Approaches museum in Liverpool. We learnt about Liverpool’s vital role in the defence of Britain and the Battle of the Atlantic. It was a fascinating trip and the children enjoyed every second of it.
When 6A went to Exchange Flags for some Navy drills, they ran into the Royal British Legion on their Poppy appeal. Not only did they receive a poppy, they also met with the Lord Mayor of Liverpool.
What an amazing way to celebrate all of the learning that we’ve been doing on World War 2.
