One of the children began to build an obstacle course in our outdoor area. The other children wanted to join in so began to gather blocks and planks to extend the obstacle course. They talked to one another about the different possibilities and took turns adding to the paths. Then together they created their own game of ‘The Floor is Lava’ and had lots of fun balancing and travelling along in different ways.
