Day 2 greeted us with another crisp Autumnal morning and the sun started to shine through as we headed out after breakfast to our first activities of the day - the climbing tower and the low ropes course and night lining. The children were superstars at climbing and overcoming their fear of heights with some showing amazing skill and speed to ascend the tower!
After lunch, we were back out in the woods for abseiling from the climbing tower whilst the other group completed Archery in the barn. Again, the children showed us how well they listen to instructions and were improving with every arrow fired from their bows!
After tea, the instructor took us into the barn to play a game of bench ball - the best fun to end what has been an epic day here at CHET.
There are lots of tired but happy faces that will no doubt get a long and restful sleep tonight after such an active day!
