Day 1 at CHET and the weather could not have been better! We have seen CHET in all of it's late autumnal glory! The children have been amazing, getting stuck straight into all of the activities on the low ropes course this afternoon after making their beds before lunch (always the most tricky task!)
After a short break, we headed into the woods to take on the orienteering course. Back into the main centre building we managed to fit in a quick game of kurling (similar to the version played on ice at the winter olympic games) which was fantastically entertaining!
After our evening meal of chicken goujons and potato wedges and salad, we wrapped up warm and headed out for our Night Walk around the estate and grounds of CHET. We visited the chapel that has been within the grounds of CHET since King Henry VIII times. On return, a well earned cup of hot chocolate and a biscuit before story time and bed!
