Year 3 spent time visiting church to see the Nativity. We took the opportunity to pray, reflect and be thankful for the wonderful Christmas we enjoyed.

We created our own printing tools using clay, pine cones, shells. It was very messy but fantastic fun.

Our first session with Beth Tweddle coaches was fantastic.

This term we have been learning about networks and their components. We have created presentations to explain how networks operate and the roles of the server, router , wireless access points and firewalls. 

 We used printing techniques to create superb art work. 

We had an amazing time print block making. We used slabs, rollers and printing ink.

We had an amazing time learning how to bowl. It was great fun learning the technique.

We are making boxes covered in fabric. We used the nets of shapes to create the box. Next we will cover them in fabric.

We are studying The Winter's Child and today we acted out a scene that we wrote ourselves. Some of us were a little nervous but we had great fun pretending to be characters from the story.

This week we have started learning about push passes and stopping the ball in hockey.

We have been working textiles to create our own box covered in fabric. It was pretty messy but they looked great 

Our basketball unit ended with a tournament. So many children have made fantastic progress and we've had great fun too.
